I had a similar problem but it only happened once for me. I fitted the extra earth strap though just to try and help things out.

My car has continued to start since this first episode but I have now fitted a secondary earth cable from the Black terminal to the starter motor bolt just to help things out.

If the fridge is full & has a lot of thermal mass, containers of water to fill gaps. Run the fridge a bit colder when you have power, it will be ok overnight, one night at a time.

For now the problem seems to have stopped and I have no idea why. I am still planning on fitting the earth I have purchased when it arrives and cleaning up all the terminals at the same time.
