Don't worry about the front bumper fitting into a Freely.
I delivered one a year or two ago and there was loads of space!
You might want to use tie-downs to stop the bumper slipping and sliding ... |

Yes, I've pushed them back into the original position, but after a couple of days they distort again.
My initial thoughts are that the seals are slightly over-sized, hence the distortion. |
