The garage got the refurbished variable vane turbo actuator back.
The mechanic was told to make sure the pivot arm on the turbo unit moves freely befor refitting the actuator.

NO No No!!
Today (10-04-1 he told me that they just replaced the vacuum hose after the flaps were removed......

I had my mechanic remove the swirl flaps from the intake when they installed a reconditioned auto gearbox.
Actuator rod and vacuum hose left in place.
They also put in new glow plugs ... |

Started her up again this morning, short, sloooow, drive round the block.
Now the "check engine light" came on. 
Still no fault codes .... Oh the joy |
