I have the exact same problem. My LR2 didn't have the warning light at all for the first few months of ownership, but now it happens periodically.

Just picked up a 2008 HSE and I noticed there is no foot rest/ deal pedal cover. Every other car I have owned had a rubber or metal cover. Anyone here installed a cover and if so where did you get it?
