You need C1 oil which is low saps, any other oil will be detrimental to engine/turbo's and DPF will clog quicker.

I had same with intermittent alarms in daughters freelander 2, it was the occupancy sensor needed cleaning in headlining accessed by back seat. A quick cheap first check maybe?

Could be a split turbo hose or sticking turbo vanes/actuator .

Surprised there are no fault codes showing.
