From what I have googled this is the IAT sensor which apparently for my year of FL2 2011 is mounted on the side of the throttle housing, moved to be part of the MAF sensor from 2013.

used xtool anyscan AM30M, but will try again, ASAP, nothing appears on the car display suggesting a problem either.
Will take a look at the crankshaft position sensor.
