Having just returned from touring Germany with my caravan ( 1500 kg ) in my 14 my SD4 ,now with 8000 miles on the clock,
Fuel consumption was Appalling, over 2,500 miles I averaged 25 mpg ! towing

You don't need a ecu download for a 2013 my freelander 2 ,!
Towbar electrics are a plug and tow job....one fuse & one relay in the glove box fuse box,

The head lamps are duel filament bulbs, main beam & dip same bulb,
Iv'e changed mine for Osram night breakers HB3... a vast improvement £25 apx
Changing the bulbs are not a 5 min job though !! |

You need a new towing electrics for the 13my freelander !
part number VPLFT 0106....£75 +vat No soft ware update just put new relay in fuse box and new fuse !
job done.  |
