Transport Logistics Required - F.Bumper

I've recently been speaking with Natalie at NE Solutions Northampton way as I'm coming over to Blighty for a short break with my two ladies. It occured to me that we could get her Ladyship's softer front end wish fulfilled to replace her MY2010 with MY2011 front bumper. However whilst Natalie has a bumper its location presents a logistical problem.

The guy I trust to do the respray and fitting is located in Derby. I've asked my family if they'd go and get it for me and I knew already their answer would be no. You see I'm the youngest and retired, the others are in their 70's n 80's and nowadays only go as far as their local Morrisons and certainly nowhere past the county boundary. Old farts all of'em.

I myself will be unable to do it as I've promised my ladies a tour: first Snowdonia, then Halewood, then Lake District, then N. Scotland and at last in Derbyshire for only 48hrs before hitting the road to Dover and Switzerland - all accommodation prebooked n paid for. Unravelling that will be a nightmare

The bumper has to be in the Derby garage by mid September latest so that it is painted n finished and ready to be fitted on one of the only two days I'm in Derbyshire.

Can anyone help shuttle this bumper up the M1 to J25 n Derby (garage 9mls from J25M1) at the end of the A52 dual carriageway in Derby. Rolling Eyes

Hang on a minute chaps - I'm not running an "introductions" agency Wink

Andy it was all Tony's idea in the first place........said he wouldn't let her Ladyship near Halewood because he feared she'd show him a thing or two re off road driving, so I only got on the factory visit by promising to a) not let her Ladyship drive in the UK, b) buy a front bumper from Natailie (me thinks he's got something going there) and c) rope you in as a distraction (the other man) so that Tony's other half doesn't suspect him of anything when he keeps going on more "field survey - back tomorrow dear. All Machiavellian mascara. Rolling Eyes

And all so her Ladyship can have her frontage embellished Whistle

Andy I'll try and reach Natalie over the weekend or Monday latest to settle the purchase/pay etc and inform her that her best man from up'north is visiting again. Once that's done I'll be in direct touch with you re the details.

Many thanks for your exemplary noble offer - it will not go unrewarded. Thumbs Up

You'll have to put your dating arrangements on hold Big Cry

Natalie has just got back to me this morning from a location which I cannot reveal to say that she will be out of the country and not back at her place until the 12th September. Whereupon I will speak to her again to conclude matters.

Andy - how does this latest news affect your ability to collect and deliver Question
