G4 Freelander 2

Hi

Just been looking at the G4 Site, and the launch video, but it only shows the D3 and RRS. In the details it talks about all vehicles being used, including the FL2. Has any found any photos, or details of the FL2 in G4 setup, and whats being fitted.

I'd love to see it with full underbody protection, demountable winch and expedition roof rack. I suppose a snorkel would be a nice edition.

Also, if it does get any offroad kit, what do people think the chances are tha LR will sell them?

Rich

Just seen some images in the Land Rover press site, of Freelanders in Iceland, with sump guard and tank guard. Wonder when Land Rover will announce these

Speak to Mantec... they have probably made them for LR. They do for the D3, RRS G4's.

G4s

I saw a whole bunch of G4 FL2s at the Ashford LRE site last week. They had large orange stripes on silver or dark blue FL2s. I didn't notice any other obvious mods, though I didn't look underneath.

They were just standerd cars with a stripe. They were there for the G4 TReK which is a dealer based G4 type challange. Or in my case, run up and down a very steep hill in Kent and wish you didnt smoke 40 tabs per day Shocked Rolling with laughter

The challange cars will probably break cover early next year Thumbs Up

thx

Thanks for that clarification highbridgeflyer. I heard that they'd lined up all sorts of "fun" challenges for you all. It sounded like a new approach to thinning down the employee base to me!! How was camping out in a tent in late October?!! Laughing

I know, frustrating isn't it Rolling Eyes

They have a good few pictures from Mongolia on the site, but the only one of a FL2, is a mere spec in the distance Rolling Eyes

Hopefully in time we'll find more & better pics out there..........
