The problem stems from years ago when the UK opened its doors to everyone who wanted to grab free national health -benefits-housing etc. Foreigners just piled in with no consideration for the consequences like over crowding- lack of jobs- etc. So of course this has been building up for ages and the recession has just made the situation come to a boiling point.

Yes there are answers such as bring back national service- deport those who preach on our streets against the UK while they get huge benEfits. Stop people bringing in their families just because one decides to work in the UK, deport illegal immigrants the same as they do in Australia irrespective wether they have a passport or not. Deport any foreigners who commit criminal acts, repeal the human rights act.

Unfortunately the government has no backbone and hasn't got the guts to stick two fingers up to the EEC and say THIS IS ENGLAND AND WE DECIDE ON THE LAW NOT SOME DAMN FOREIGN COUNTRY.

The last thing our Armed Forces need is a load of thieving layabouts - unless they could be used as targets!

I was looking at some refurb work a couple of weeks ago for a large retail outlet at their distribution centre. The guy who showed me round openly admitted that 75% of the workforce were Polish - not a problem if we were in Poland but we are not we are in Britain - British jobs for British people. Give these yobs a job and let them steal off the conveyor belt and not the shop window!!

The British people won't get off their arses and work for low wages - The Poles will. My experience of polish workers is that they are very good, polite and generally honest. If it wasn't for them most of the food grown in the East Anglian Fens would rot in the fields. Given the choice I would keep them and export the home grown trash.

Exactly why should a British business be forced to employ lazy uninterested 'british' workers. when the poles etc are keen to work hard and do the job properly and efficiently.

My chickens get collected much more efficiently by the Polish gangs than the British ones. without all the shouting, swearing, constant tea breaks (or even joint breaks Rolling Eyes ) and I no longer have hide all the tools etc every night the catching gangs arrive. At work

The Polish agency workers we employ have a far better attitude for work, as said they are efficient, willing to learn, polite and show initiative which has lead to their advancement and a permanent position. Because of this we have the British moaning that they don't like taking orders from them, Why ? they had the same opportunities within our factory but failed to take it.

The British youth failed their schooling, then realised no-one would employ them, whoops too late so into a factory job they go at minimum wage, then blame everyone else but themselves for their lack of education and job prospects.

...... and Polish girls are trim. Razz

I know quite a few people who would recommend Polish window cleaners far more than any British window cleaners they have used.

They job they do was always better and never left dirty water running down the sills. 2002 Honda VFR800

Id use the little Censored s like canaries in a coal mine, lower them in the slurry tank and if their dead when hauled out then the slurry gas is dangerous and should be vented At work

There are lots of Polish who work on the farms around my area.
Yes, they are polite and work hard.
But the only reason why farmers take them on is to increase the size of their own wallets. Nothing wrong with that you might think, but our own British young can't get jobs round here. There has to be some sort of balance.

I'm not sticking up for mindless looting and violence in any way, but considering the MP's expenses scandel and the Bankers irresponsiblity, those that should set an example to the young appear to have done so. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
