Very nice - 1987 model year Tubo MG.. White is a very nice colour if it has at least one piece of coloured trim like the red bumper insert on that MG Montego.

I test drove a new one in 1986; never did 150bhp seem quite so scary

I'd love a new one now though, it would certainly get you noticed

I saw a RRS last week as I was driving down the A10, even the wipers front and back where white
Nearly crashed my van trying to snap a photo of it

The police fleets changed from white for purely financial reasons...they got more at auction for silver cars which is a more popular colour. The knock on effect was supercars started being made again in white starting with the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Gallardo ...... pronounced Gay-ardo !!!  _________________

In terms of cars 2007. That was when manufacturers of super cars started using white to promote their cars and the more mainstream manufacturers followed.
The R8 started it and as the parent company of Lambo is also Audi the white Gallardo followed the same year.

I need to get out more !

Down at the Heritage Motor Centre today and noticed a large number of white LR Experience vehicles all on 63 plates.
