Electrice mirrors in reverse mode issue

Hello everyone, i hope someone can help, we have just bought our first land rover FL2 and totally love it but the wing mirrors seem to have a life of their own. When you put the car into reverse (auto) instead of the mirrors dipping down they go up and when you put into drive they go down? therefore you spend lots of time adjusting them. Has anyone else had this problem? can anyone point me in the right direction or is it off to the dealer? the drivers mirror stopped dipping and raising altogether but today i disconnected the battery and reconnected it, rebooted the car! and its gone back to working as before.

Also, the one touch windows only work going down in the front but not up, the rears are fine?

Any ideas would be great, thanks, Jonathan

I read in the manual that this happens when you put it in reverse. Basically whatever state it is in you can adjust them so that that is then the default for that state.

So....

If you point them down in reverse they will always point down and if you point them straight back in drive they will always be that way when in drive.

this is a standard feature, so that when in reverse the mirrors can be angled down to see the kerb etc. Just adjust the mirrors when you are in reverse to a setting you like

Indeed, in reverse set the mirrors as you like and press the memory button in the seat to store the changes. Otherwise when you press 1,2 or 3 inthe seat you will go back to the previous stored settings.

A manual is where there are the correct number of pedals and moving levers. It is for those people with advanced skills in multitasking and hand-eye coordination. Whistle Whistle Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

The mirrors on my 07se don't dip in reverse mode. Pretty sure it should have it as it's in the manual. I've tried putting it in reverse and moving the mirrors down, but when I put it in 1st they just stay down.
Any Ideas?

Think they were only fitted to the HSE as standard, and everything is in the manual whether youve got it on your car or not.

I think they only dip on the HSE and other models if you have electric seat adjustment as the memory function is on seats.
