AUTOGLYM LIFESHINE

I am after a bit of advice having taken delivery of a new SD4 HSE in Sumatra (Black - the only colour to have). Anyone with any thoughts on Autoglym Lifeshine? Is it worth having especially as I live 300 yards from the sea and the gulls seem to use my drive for target practice. Also, I have have had different quotes ranging from £235 plus vat up to £374, no vat. If I do go for it what should I be paying for an FL2? Is it really an 8 hour job on a new car as one valeter has said it is? Any help gratefully received.

Also, SWMBO parked in Tescos today and some t**t in a Suzuki reversed into her scuffing the bumper. Anyone, used Chipsaway or a similar company in the Sussex area for minor repairs like this or stone chips? She is now banned from Tescos and told to go to Waitrose instead as at least there you get a better class of c**p driver.

Don't waste your money, if you want life shine you can buy the kit off fle bay for a lot less money. I would just buy some autoglym hd wax for about £ 25 from amazon it will give as good protection and a better shine. Or look at wolfs chemicals body wrap. Thumbs Up

wiped down with ipa, then used supagard buffed when dry, then a good coat of carnuba wax the rain sheets off .
dealers charge £350 roughly for the supagard treatment cost me £5 fleabay and took 8 hours to do right.

Like many things in life - Waste of money if done wrong etc or as in many dealers cases not done at all but if done correctly works well & has a proper warranty. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Stuff on ebay is generally nicked from the dealers by the so called cleaners (not valeters) then flogged off, sometimes watered down & absolutely no warranty. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

thats why in my opinion the supagard treatment is better as its inside the sponge, diamondbrite and the others can be diluted

So Sorry lol. No other forums that I frequent seem to have an issue with members offering to assist others. They have threads started by members when other members have worked on their cars! Almost like Ebay & the Ebay Police!! Evil or Very Mad

If I read the above correctly then if I want to become a sponsor I can't promote the business - Kind Of pointless then. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I think a "," is missing, how easy it is to misconstrue a sentence through the omission of such a tiny device Rolling Eyes

I agree, a bit harsh, your not going to stomp all over anyones toes.

Read the rules on commercial postings EV Rolling Eyes

http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic3.html

I agree your not treading on anyone's toes, but then if you allow one, you allow all, so sponsors that actually do pay might as well not, then the revenue they bring doesn't exsist and then neither does the forum

It's also not the first time you have been warned!! Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
