England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

The simple answer is that the Evoque is smaller than both the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. In size terms it is only marginally longer than a Ford Focus. It also has a 2.0 litre petrol or 2.2 litre diesel engine compared to the larger lumps of metal in its bigger brothers.

In terms of market Land Rover expect about 75% of Evoke buyers to be new to Land Rover. Apparently a lot of Audi TT owners are showing serious interest in the Evoke.

Actually, my Freelander is no bigger than my Focus and the Evoque seems much smaller than the Freelander!

Actually your Freelander is 4500 mm overall length while your Focus is 4337 mm overall length an Evoque on the other hand is either 4355 mm overall if its a Pure/Prestige or 4365 if its a Dynamic. Hence my previous comment that an Evoque is only slightly longer than a Ford Focus.

The real point I was making is that Evoque is smaller than both the Range Rover (4972 mm) and the Sport (4783).

Interesting, although my own Focus is actually 4402mm long (Mk 2 RS), so there's only 4" in it.

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

Followed a black Evoke up the lane from Gordano village towards Failand yesterday. Looked very poised but I don't think I'd like the restricted vision around the rear end.

Had another look at the Evoke today at a LR dealer not local to me. Always interesting to visit a new dealer where nobody knows you and you can have a good rumage!

Well, on second inspection I'm really not at all sure still. The 3dr is, in my eyes, an urban chic-trolley....for me quite revolting. The four door is more interesting but it is tiny, very compact indeed. I lov ethe front end though, all LR's could go this way imho

Most interesting was the salesman's comment, 'freelander sales have fallen off a cliff!' GOOD I thougt....some great deals on the way for lovers of proper 4x4's!! FL2 GS Auto '58reg

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey

Spotted an Evoque on Skinner street in Whitby last saturday. Looked to have a lot of road dirt on it so don't think it was a local.
