Checking the mileage

If you need to know your mileage or trip and don't have your key fob handy to light up the dash, just press the trip reset button and the odometer panel comes up with the numbers.

LR Assist man showed me this when he came to look at my rear suspension.drive noise - documented elsewhere - and wanted to note the milelage. While I fumbled for the key, he got the info. Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
Gone... 2008 (09MY) XS Td4 Manual Stornaway Grey
Prior... 2003 G4 Discovery 2, 1998 Disco 1 and 1997 Disco 1 Company car before that
Also gone in Nov'13, after 7.5 yrs, to new owners with time for more TLC - 1980 Series III 88
Current 2015 Discovery Sport HSE 2.0

I knew that already, Ford, Vauxhall, Jag and the Freelander all do it, at least on all of mine they did.

Many thanks, news to me! JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

The company I worked for switched to fuel cards and I kept forgetting to note the mileage before switching off. One time I got to the till before I remembered so I had to go back and check. When I returned to the till I had to apologise for the delay as I had to "wait for the car to boot before I could read the display"

Well I work in IT and I couldn't think of a different way to say it. Prog rock is cool!
