Alpine Stereo

Hi, I've tried searching and cannot find an answer to this.
The new stereo appears to clip if at any reasonable volume. I've altered the levels of bass, treble and sub woofer, but whatever I do, the volume, or rather range of sound appears to be limited. IE loud guitar; vocals come in; guitar fades. Is there a limiter fitted, and if so, can you access it's settings? I have looked in th emanual. Indus Silver

That's where I've noticed it. I mainly play music through my iPhone into the aux.
I'll try some Costly Discs next.
Thanks you. Indus Silver

Npinks you are a diamond. That worked. I had it set to 11( may work for Spinal Tap?). Didn't realise the sub menu was there. Set it to 0 and all appears good. Could even handle all that the mighty Mogwai could throw at it.
Cheers
