Retrofit Cruise Control doesn't work on MY10

Hi, just got a 2011 'S' auto. Fitted a cruise control switch and it didn't work. Bought another one - same, not working.
Doe's it need to be programmed onto the ECU?

Thanks in advance

After fitting, needs someone with a Faultmate (like a small diagnostic computer) to enable it, like 10forcash. Based in Derby, but travels round. There are others who do it that said. A 5 min job.

The radio controls is plug and play, no enabling required for that.
