Finally ordered my Freely

OK its not red but when you think of the lives of the poor souls who made the specal pigments, I guess a car colour is pretty insignificant really.

Anyway, called into a delaer whilst out on Monday, just to look at colours and browse with the missus and daughter.
James Edwards in Brock, couldn't have been more helpful, obviously wanted my business but went out of their way with an impromptu test drive, in a car with plenty of fuel in it, the last dealer had it on reserve and suggested not to go too far!!! So to cut a long story, I signed on the dotted line

SD4 GS
Indus Silver (probably as Zermatt is being dropped, Indus is more silver and doesn't seem to have the blue of zermatt, the dealer will confirm this as the colours seemingly will change in June)
Privacy Glass
18" Wheels
Winter Pack
oh, and something about a teddy and an umbrella, I hope thats not to cuddle on the hard shoulder in the rain!!!

Colours pretty limited due to the paint situation and the girls liked the silver.
so I have taken the plunge

oh and one more thing, no towbar.....yet.....may get the urge to give something a tug once in a while and join the others who do so Laughing

You won't regret it (I hope).

Looks like you are already learning how to park in supermarket bays, that should stop others banging your doors Evil or Very Mad

Rolling with laughter That picture is the only one I could find in the spec I have, it is actually Zermatt, none have been painted in Indus yet, although the swatches side by side are exactly as CG says.
My parking will be like this though, it does prevent trolley rash!!

Myself and mt beloved very much would like a caravan, but much prefer the idea of one that sits on breeze blocks most of its life!!
Little trailer will be handy though for tip runs etc, prices for the bar from local fitters are quite appealing and the neighbour just happens to have a small trailer I could use!!

I was surprised in the showroom, the HSE they had did not smell of leather and the RRS next to it positively reaked of leather, must be more plastic than leather, coming from the Merc with Artico (German plastic) I am glad I am going back to cloth, with Winter pack too it will be positively toasty, although with my luck I can almost garantee it will not snow for four years.
I also made a point of seeing if I would miss the armrest on the test drive, I didn't.

Got a full size spare too as the can of fairy dust doesn't seem appealing.

What do members think of Supagaurd inside and outside, I'm not paying, just wondered if it would really be of any use, also offered minor repair protection, I think these items are similar to when you purchase shoes and they try and sell extra laces and "special" polish.

looking forward to its arrival and maybe meeting up for a "proper" drive somewere, will be pointless sticking to tarmac., I am a keen photorapher so it will be greta to get some decent pics.

The "extras" are something you could get a lot cheaper outside of the dealership, I only had the "gap" because it was thrown in and like you a full size alloy spare, I don't know how many members will be around after the Norths meet in May, its a shooting day out with a debate on "colour", "towing", "auto/manual". I just wonder if it will be the clays that will be the target, so if anyone does survive then look forward to meeting up another time at another event. Thumbs Up

nearly forgot about the auto or manual debate, obvious really auto is best Whistle

supaguard was thrown in on mine too, didn't pay anything for it and I got a free sponge and warning triangle along with some other bits so no compaints from me, would have rather had a full sized spare though.

and for the record occasional trailer trips to the rubbish tip are OK as is collecting motorcycles, it's just shed tugging I object to SD4 Sport LE Firenze Red - no options or modifications yet, but it's early days.
