Windscreen damage?

Hi all,

Unfortunately I was hit by a fairly large stone last week. It left a large chip in my windscreen that has tried to be repaired but it's still quite obvious! My question is are there any problems regarding windscreen replacement? And is it worth looking into a heated screen at this stage? Confused

There is a lot more to it than buying a heated windscreen. wiring, switch, ecu and a faultmate update. not saying it can't be done, just more trouble than it's worth.

Thanks for the replys folks

My insurance company uses National Windscreens who apparently use genuine LR parts. So for £70 excess I can get it sorted? I think thats just the way to go....
