I can't say I take a lot of notice of the forecasts these days, other than general changes as they seem to 'over forecast' poor conditions to cover themselves & a lot of the public's' lack of common sense.

I think Michael Fish's 'Hurricane FoPa' started it, but it does seem to have got a lot worse in this past few years Shocked

You may have spring flowers poking though in the UK, but here it is still DEEP in snow, minus degrees and will be for a long time yet Crying or Very sad

End of March it may help a bit, but the snow covered orange can stay for some time - like 2 months Big Cry 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red

Every chance of snow anywhere in the UK until say April. Currently warm westerlies are meeting cold air from the North East across the North Sea/Scotland, hence recent/current snow. Mad to take winter tyres off now IMHO...

Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

Agree and whilst ever it is cold and wet they are much better than our contis, ours are staying on until the end of March / April I recon.

Only reason i would change now is if your getting below 6mm tread as they wont be as effective next winter if you run them much below that. The missus - SD4 HSE - Black - 2012

Yup, so if you follow that point to it's logical conclusion aren't we discriminating against our middle eastern and southern hemisphere members who are 'suffering in the baking hot sun' Whistle
