United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Zermatt Silver
phone cradle

Hello,

On the verge of buying FL2 and discovered my Nokia E61 (superb for push email!) isn't compatible with the bluetooth system. Having read some of the documentation on the landrover website, it suggests that there is an in-car cradle for connecting a phone. Does anyone know anything about thi?

I really like my phone and the FL2. None of the other compatible phones have the kind of functionality I need.

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Hi Martin

I'm in the same boat, as I have a blackberry, the one thing I would suggest is to try the E61, I had a loan of an E50 (I think these run the same OS) and this paired fine.

I'm hoping to have a bundle of smart phones to try on Friday, one of which will be the E61i, I'll let you know how I get on.

Also, I haven't seen anything about a cradle for the FL2 kit, I think these are all for the Disco and RRs, which have a different kit, and a socket in the centre console for you phone. BUt I could be wrong

Just done it, works perfectly, I've then put up a few posts on here to let future users know, as it has been bugging me for ages.

Thanks for this

Rich
