Bloody hell. That shows really well how BIG it is Shocked

I just cannot imagine how bad 300Kph winds would be like. In Perth, we had a near miss of a cyclone last week that ultimately fizzled out, but it was predicted to hit us at around 120Kph and THAT was going to be a bad one.

Australia 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Lago Grey

Morning news here in Aus is starting to report now...

Yasi made landfall around Mission Beach between Cairns and Townsville, pretty severe devastation reported in the immediate area but no serious injuries reported thus far. Power out to 70,000+ people but the evac centres have all held up.

Hearing from friends in Cairns now, lots of damage to houses, trees blown over, power lines everywhere, not sure what impact this had on the Great Barrier Reef but could be bad and you can expect banana, sugarcane and other FNQ crop prices to soar as much of the crops have been wiped out apparently. 11MY SE SD4 in Lago Grey just arrived with a free Garmin thrown in! This could be the start of a beautiful relationship (I'm an eternal optimist, and former FL1 owner)!

I really don't think I could cope living in a cyclone area Embarassed

35+kph winds today and a panel has blown off my conservatory roof, last time I went to cornwall, 48kph winds and I was sat there on edge waiting for my awning to collapse, now I am sat here on edge waiting for my DIY fix to hold out on the 49kph gust that are expected tonight, so I have worked out I hate wind and sit waiting for the worst to happen

God knows what I would be like if we got 190mph wind, a blubbering nervous wreck I expect Crying or Very sad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

We recently had our hottest night ever, 33 celsius with 47 during the day. The weather is going nutty.
