I'm standing on my head at the mo and it looks like a Freelander 1, Hazard a guess that it happened through an attempted avoidance rather than it being flipped by driving through it.

Driving too fast, hitting a too large a pot hole, and driver error

I'm my opinion Wink

Well at least we now know we will be driving Range Rover Freelander 3, the writer must be writing a scoop on it and got confused Whistle Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

typical Daily Mail not letting facts get in the way of a good story.

It looks to me that the car did its job in protecting the occupants, and I wonder if the same could have been said if a smart car had had the same encounter with the pothole Rolling Eyes For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.

The Smart Car would probably still be IN the crater. Very Happy

Apparently Georgia was the worst 'hut' (sic), whatever that means... Looks like someone who can't drive to me and who was going way too fast.

I wonder if they'll be compensated for a new car from the council?

I wouldn't have said a pothole could flip a car either, and if it's the one they're sitting in then someone isn't telling the whole story! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

My Jeep Cherokee had a big orange sticker on the sun visor to warn you that it might overturn when cornering. Perhaps this one was being driven by an American???
