Foxes and the worlds most powerful spaniel

A friend of mine is concerned about letting her cats out at night cos one of the local cats has been killed by a fox recently. I dont dislike foxes as such but I realise they can cause problems (CG will no doubt have had some dealings with them) Laughing

Anyway, we live near some fields and I would just hope for the sake of the fox he never gets onto our garden and starts trouble with our dogs. We have a welsh springer and an english springer. Toby the english springer is like The Hulk, don't make him angry. Lovely dog and keeps himself to himself but will act in self defence and he is built like a tank (for a spaniel), he is the SAS of the spaniels. An Alsatian got loose last year and came tearing at us in a rage so Toby flipped and charged at it to defend our other dog Sam and got it by the throat. It ran away back to its house it had escaped from Rolling with laughter

If a burglar broke into our house he would laugh at first if the dogs challenged him but that would his very last laugh Laughing

If you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow then there's one spaniel you never ever upset... Toby!

Funnily enough the fox was on the garden at 6am this morning and the dogs were barking. Bloke up the road keeps chickens so he better watch out. Sly Censored them foxes LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Nice dog there mojo, what kind is it?

My dog Toby is always trying to flush the blackbirds etc out of the undergrowth when we are out (as they do), but the other dog Sam is always sniffing and never bothers with the birds, could have been a police dog Laughing LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Alright Doc? He's a Flat Coated Retriever, mad as a box of frogs and rubbish at retrieving, some would blame the owner. Still he'd lick any burglars we had to death!

Wowzers! No way could we handle two of our dog, one's mad enough and we couldn't cope with any more mud around the house, we have to mop the floor at least twice a day at the moment!
