I think it's all generic, but I take your point, will have a look. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a little something.

Well i do have the clear high level brake light fited (now that was a Censored to fit, not the light but the plastic trim )

And after to days financial investment i think thats where it will stop for a month or two, so don't expect to see any new sparkley bits on the 14th. ( This bits just incase Mrs Toeknee decides to look in )

Tight git! Treat Mrs Toeknee to the full treatment for the motor.

Mines now wanting the rear spoiler as well. Fine, I now have a list of stuff needing to go to the paint shop, new rear handle, rear spoiler, maybe a couple of touch ups on the new 2011 bumper and a stone chip on the drivers door. Rolling Eyes Just as well it's her cousin who owns the place and is giving a family discount.

Got my MOT done at Stratstone Newcastle on Tuesday, £29 including free wash and vac. Sailed through. While I was there, I asked for a quote for my 4 year service, as it will be due shortly, they want £442 for the service.
I know Team Valley are cheaper, but the owners are knob heads, had a run in with them last year, over work they did for me, and I had to take it to Stratstone to get them to put it right. Tried to complain about their work, and was threatened with court action. So I will not be going there again. Stratstone say they will price match, but only a 15 mile radius, and require a written quote to do that. So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Pretty sure Stratstone will price match - get a quote from Team Valley and ask Strastone to match it. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Should have read your post in total - what a knob Embarassed MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

I just got the "proper" 4 year / 60K service done at Harwoods Pulborough.

Had to haggle to get it to £488 including VAT - they wanted something like £560 to begin with.

And I needed an MOT - think that was about £58.

And I needed brakes looking at, front and back, but I knew that was coming - they told me about it last year!

Total bill £890. Bargain eh!

Got a free Landrover branded air freshener though... So not all bad.

I would have been getting my hands dirty before I spent that much at a dealer for bread and butter work!

Just phoned my local dealer to compare prices against a local 4x4 specialist.

For a 4th Year service PLUS brake fluid change:

Hatfields of Liverpool Dealership - £543.64 (£458.64 for service & £85 brakefluid change)

Local Specialist - £292.24 (inc brake fluid change & rear diff pressure sensor change)

It just goes to show how much the dealers rip you off !!!!!!!

Just phoned my local specialist Steve Hill in Bristol for a price for a 4th Service, they quoted £440 compared to my local Land-rover Main Dealer who had quoted £433 including MOT. So i will save money and get the main dealer stamp. They have also agreed I can supply the oil so another £42 saved
So you can just as easily get ripped off by an Independent !!!! FL2 HSE Sumatra black with body kit

Have you used them from new - ie during your 3 years warranty?
