For sale - 17 inch XS/SE alloy and steel spares

Not having had any luck before on the forum I have now put these on ebay. So if anyone should be interested then they are ebay item number eBay Item No. 150542515946 for the alloy with 2mm+ tread tyre and item number and eBay Item No. 150542525679 for the unused steel spare with 8mm tread Wrangler tyre.

your only problem is not much tread left. People would be buying them for the metal alloys.

Yes, quite right it will reduce the number of people interested. There is sufficient tread for it to be used as a spare if anyone wants a proper full size replacement for tyre repair kit or reduced speed steel wheel. It also means they would have a spare alloy in the event of damage to others.

Another point that has been raised by PM is the tyres on the alloys and on the spare wheel are 2007, 4 years old. The steel spare has been kept in the dark and does appear to be as good as new. I understand from a tyre supply and fit company that they are allowed to store tyres for up to 4 years before selling. However, I always check date of manufacture when buying new and expect them to be no more than a few months old.
