BMW X5

Sat at some lights on a roundabout the other day with X5 4.4 in overtaking lane. I put the FL2 in sand mode and left him for dead off the line (not racing him Laughing ) I simply wanted to get in front and burn past the lorry before pulling back (plus I wanted to test sand mode - bloody quick pull off). Anyway, he was most annoyed so when I pulled over at 70 he eventually flew past at about 5000mph. Clearly showing X5 supremacy Rolling with laughter

Anyway, what do you guys think of the X5? Apart from build quality and being nice to drive (apparently), I don't rate them. RRS or FFRR FTW! LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Never really looked at them as I am not a X5,6,3, or 1 fan, if i was to go BMW would have to look at their cars bornite 4x4 styled things

One of the RRS members swapped to a X5 and is much happier than his RRS lemon Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

i had a ffrr, untill you drive one for a time then you cant imagine what they are like dont get me wrong the fl2 is great and i real realy like mine but comparison to the ffrr it doesnt compare they are two different cars.

you cant put them in the same class

ffrr is very good but awfully expensive to run Big Cry

the x5 is a big saloon and again does not compare with the capabilities of the lr family as for the rrs if you like the dealer and enjoy there company then get one Laughing

Bavarian Motor Works - Doesn't sound quite so good now! X5's are nice to drive just don't get an X6. As with all BMW's the badge sells it no matter how rubbish some of them may be. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
