Land rover say it is not necessary on the FL2.

One of the great things about the FL2 and one reason why I chose it for towing. No need to alter tyre pressures and 150kg tow ball limit (although caravan limit is 100kg).

If I see any car towing a van I get a a strong urge to dramatically alter the tyre pressures
