Looks really good. May not be quite as good if you don't have privacy glass but then I havn't seen a non privacy glass model done with this! Is it painted or a vinyl as it appears to match the rear pillar perfectly.

I would like mine done........ (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

I've now had a look at this and I will have to firstly say, it's not easy,
but it can be done with a little care and time.

The Kit:

4 sections of matt black vinyl to match the vinyl between the
front and rear doors, over sized and in need of final trim.
1 Plastic Squeeee
1 Felt Squeegee
1 Craft Knife
1 Small Liquid Mist Bottle

Quick installation instructions:

Firstly made sure that all four areas to be covered are clean,
this is very important.

Start on the area to be covered on the rear door
( this section of vinyl is over sized and will need to be trimmed )
The rubber trim around the glass will need to be lifted so the vinyl
can sit under it for a better fit & finish. The other side is to be
wrapped around the inside edge of the door by around 10mm.

The back section:

Firstly remove very carefully the Land Rover oval,
( this is held in place by double sided tape )
be very carefull not to mark the paint work or brake
the plastic oval as a new one will cost around £12 from the dealer.

Lift the rubber seal from around the inside edge of the rear door,
this is again stuck down and will need re-sticking at the end.
Apply vinyl, again over sized for trimming. Very carefully trim with
craft knife around the edge of the rear window rubber.

When the vinyl is applied and dry replace the oval and re-stick
the rubber down over the vinyl for a neat finish.

If you fancy giving it ago ??? remember it will take a lot of care
and a little time but a super finish can be achieved.

The kit price is £35.00 plus £3.95 P+P

Included in this price is a £2.50 site donation from each kit !!

We will also include a full step by step instruction sheet.

Is it a case of having surgical skills when trimming, how do you not cut into the paint?

No, no surgical skills required, just be careful and precise.
The two forward edges will be hiden, one under the rubber
door seal and the other under the window rubber so both
can be a little longer to aid trimming.

The two rear edges, one will be one the inside of the rear
door, wrapped round so can be a little longer.
The rear most edge will be upto the
rear window seal so care will be needed.

Remember, take your time, it's not a race.

You will not cut into the paint, the cuting will be done
when the vinyl is held away from the paint.

As stated earlier it's no walk in the park to fit, but
with a little care, skill and time it's not that bad.

What more can I say..

I want a kit as well. Shipped to Norway. Can't leave Redlabel alone with a blackened out C-pillar on a Tambora Flame FL2... Leopard tank drivers never stop at anything.
