Santa came early - new SD4 delivered.

Big smiles - very nice to drive. Even been off road already - well a pretty tame green lane actually. Couple of pics in the gallery.

What headlights did you get? If they are halogen projectors ( as opposed to the xenon option) how do you find them?

Standard Halogens - and they are a bit useless on dip.

Mind you I have been recommended some Philips upgrades which are rather cheaper than the LR Xenon option:

Going to give these a try soon. Freelander 2 SD4 HSE - Ipanema Sand - MD co-pilot - Springer Spaniel in boot - Swift Challenger on the back!

Thanks for the quick reply. I am installing Halogen projectors ( from a 2011 model) in my MY2010 HSE . The best bulbs are the latest Philips X treme vision 100%

I fitted these Philips X treme vision 100% bulbs, well pleased with the results, not Xenons but a big improvement FL2 HSE Sumatra black with body kit
