Problem - How to get too many wrapped crimbo presents from Cornwall to Norfolk without upstaging the big man coming down the chimney the night before?
Answer - Buy a new LR2 which LR have thoughtfully ommitted the spare wheel, leaving a great hiding place - amazing what you can get in there. Did have to remove the a black box and a bottle of white stuff from the middle - something to do with punctures I think!!

BTW - noticed - white, tyre weld fluid (now dried) all over the bottom of the spare wheel well. I guess the bottle has frozen and expanded during the recent cold spell (and that's in Cornwall!). Not too sure if the bottle has to be pressurised by air to remove contents to get it into the tyre, but if the bottle has already split due to frost it ain't going to work too well! - Others might want to check this?

Just hope for no punctures between here and Norfolk Big Cry

P.S. Yokohama tyres still waiting for snow to play in - not fair - I feel left out. Going to by a 2wd version soon if it doesn't snow : Evil or Very Mad 1998 Feelander XDI Hardback - Gone

don't expect Norfolk to be the place where you get to play in the snow - not been enough here to do any playing of any sort.

Hope the trip goes well.

Now, if LR had thoughtfully designed the spare wheel the other way round to it is, there would be a natural all year hiding place for valubles and the like. If anybody has ever owned a BMW, they will know what I mean Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Okay then, a bin bag and on the roof rack or the boot and load cover extended? Obviously I was not paying too much attention for some reason. Could be the subject matter? Anyway, I've got a full size spare. Suppose I could ditch that and then I'd have the space. who needs a spare tyre anyway.

Kids aren't keen on giving Jethro a lift, so left him down Camborne!! Sorry! Just buy another xmas DVD.

Travelling to Norfolk tomorrow (Tuesday), weather looks ok so hopefully no gridlocked motorways, FL2 no help with these!

Nice 6 inches of the white stuff this morning in Cornwall, better than the ice we had last night, which made HDC struggle. 2T on ice down a steep hill needs handling very slowly, get a wheel in the ditch where there should be less compacted ice / snow.

So far Yokohama ATS's performing brilliantly, I think TC light must have blown - doesn't come on!

Brilliant sight today - came up steep hill from our Village, got to top to find policeman putting up a road closed sign and stopping drivers going the other way because the road was impassible Rolling with laughter

His face was a picture when I offered to pop down and put another sign at the other side of the hill Whistle 1998 Feelander XDI Hardback - Gone
