Winter tyres

Which 18" winter tyres are best for snow? I think I will get some on my spare set of wheels when the tyres are worn out, and then change them each winter. Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys

2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Hi

I have (just before last snow) put some Verdestein Wintrac 4 extreams on 18s. They have been top draw and miles better than the OEM tyres in the cold weather. They are cheaper than the Mitch Alps and IMO (had these on previous car) just as good if not better.

The site sponsor will do you a good deal on these but I have to say i got mine mail order from Click for tyre for £578.65 delivered as i didn't know about AJS at the time. The missus - SD4 HSE - Black - 2012
Me - BMW 330d Saloon - Black - 2011

In my opinion, the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R SUV are the best (non studded) tires for snow.

I would agree with that they are excellent winter/snow tyres for the price Thumbs Up
