Don't people from Yorkshire check tyre depths with a penny they borrowed from someone else? The Police were giving these away the other day, they probably shaved off a mm on the tool to get a few more collars. Sceptical or what? It's getting the time for Police traps/road checks. Can't say they arn't festive.

Oh no it doesn't! Plenty of advertising about extra patrols and stopping drunk drivers, but quite a few Forces are not paying their Traffic Cop PH's, so believe it or not, you know credit crunch and all that. There wont be one on duty on 25/26th and 1/2nd. you'd have to be most unlucky to get caught by a Beat cop. I know Traffic cops grumbling about it so much that if there is a bad or fatal RTC and they get called at home to attend, they are all going to say there have been drinking and refuse to come out.

Last person out of the UK please switch the lights out.
