There was a thread over on RRSport about them, they found the black look better on the eye as it blended into the tyre the grey stood out like chicken George at a caravan dealership

Though I nearly bought some I held back as one of the chaps who did complained that the end kept popping out if the rim and I believe they say they was working on a solution. IIRC alloygator joined up and gave a little input in the thread Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Doesn’t that rather defeat the object of fitting larger alloys for appearance, only to be spoiled by a YELLOW (or even black) plastic strip round the wheel?
Better to have smaller alloys or at least learn to drive properly Whistle 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.
