2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue
Confirmation needed of tyre rating

Hi - I have been offered some Vredstein Wintrac 4 Extreme tyres for my spare 17inch wheels for the Freelander 2. As the car is a keeper I will get the wear and tear out of them, but need to confirm the load and speed rating are suitable, as they are different to that on the current tyres. I am happy the size is correct as it is like for like.

They are 235/65 R17 108H XL - This is the only speed and load rating Vredstein list in this size.

Can anyone confirm this is OK?

Thanks all.

Arran

Well with the FL2 max speed, so I would say they be fine

Speed Symbol "H" For vehicles with a speed capability not exceeding 210 Km/h (130 Mph)

Load ratings high enough too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Great, thanks for the fast response. That was what I thought, but when spending that kind of money I wanted to make sure I was right!

My other car is a TVR, so I know just to look for ZR rated tyres 0 Twisted Evil

Can't wait for some winter weather now, the TVR is predictably undriveable, and the daily runner (Mini) is not much better, so we are hoping my wifes Freelander 2 will be way better - bring it on. Only had it since May and love it.

Thanks

Arran

Thumbs Up
