Best Compact SUV (Auto Express)

Nice to see that Auto Express have given the best compact SUV award to the Freelander2.

The British Machine steamrollered the opposition to secure this position. Premium looks, refined driving dynamics and unbeatable off road credentials. Few family cars feel as special or serve up quite as much versatility. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

This is excellent. It just shows all those wannabies in their Kuga's, Tiguans and the turd on wheels that is the BMW X3, what being the best is all about. They can shout about reliability all they want. My car has been fine touch wood and the feel of quality is world class.

We will fight these pretenders to our throne on the beaches, we shall never surrender!

I think LR is the only real 4x4 producer so far. All the SUVs and so called 4x4 will never go off road.

That is what the UK motoring press say. However if one cares to read car magazines from around the world the story is a different one. So dont dwell on the Auto Express laurels for too long, and lets hope that LR manage to sort out the reliability of the FL2 to match some of its lesser rivals.

PS - the above is not meant as negative comments, just fact. Personaly I am very satisfired with my FL2 but there are a lot out there that are not 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

My mate has bought a Yeti - its too new yet to give any real comments, but it was cheap and he is very satisfied with it (so far). 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

You can get them on the Internet these days. They are called "Real Mate's", so if you want you can fill up the FL2 with as many as you want.

PS - they even make them in look-a-like-pretend-to-be Scotsmen/women, for those of you that may be interested Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
