Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White
Courtesy Disco 3 HSE

Have been driving a 59 plate Disco 3 HSE Auto while my 10 plate FL2 Auto is being checked for vibration.
Done a few miles mixed driving, it certainly shows how good a vehicle (except my new one) the Freelander 2 is. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

This thread was meant to to say (in a subtle way) that GS Auto FL2 is a much better vehicle than Disco 3 unless you need a vehicle that size.
Hope to have own back by wednesday with new transfer box. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Do not confuse with FL1 transfer box related diff fault.
Vibration at 1800 and 2700-2900 rpm. 1800 is about 70 mph in 6th. This car is an auto and cruising at 70-75 is perfect, drop to 65 then accelerate without using kickdown back to 70+ and a severe resonance is felt through pedals and floorpan. If overtaking uphill (those annoying drivers who slow on inclines) and kickdown used then fault is much more pronounced at about 2800rpm All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Clearly a major symptom is that it makes the owner chat utter B/S such as "GS Auto FL2 is a much better vehicle than Disco 3" Rolling with laughter
