Owl face

This little fella crashed into my porch the other day and fell to the ground looking rather dead Crying or Very sad . Anyway after a few minutes it came round and took a few drinks of water. We then put it on a table and left it alone, half an hour later it flew back to its nest Very Happy . it now sits high in a tree staring down at anyone who approaches.

Since then its parents seem to have fallen out with our little dog and dive bomb it at all possible occasions Laughing

Its a little owl and its family have lived in the tree at the end of the garden for many years. I don't know what little owls catch but the squirrels have disappeared.

Glad you had the idea just to use water, as i was watching Bondi Vet on SKY last night and someone found a baby kangaroo and fed it cows milk for 3 days, which isn't good due to the sugars etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

They often hunt around the poultry sheds looking for rats and mice. I get an annual food assurance inspection and the auditor always wants to see records of rat poisons used in the year, He never quite believes me when I tell him 'owls kill the vermin so poisons are not needed' At work

The box possibly saved 'owl face' from further damage he/she landed on it, good job I didnt tidy it out of the flower bed.
