If you want to make it sticky, here you'll find ALL maintenance check sheets, for all markets, miles or kilometers, together with a sheet selection table. Wink Thumbs Up

Russia 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Stornoway Grey

Alex_pescaru, what date have these documents? Our local dealers assert service interval is 12000 kms/6 months for our region

Sorry for my wry English. I began to study it recently.
I'll be thankful for your corrections of my mistakes

They are the current ones from the LR site.
Indeed, the document that is used in your country is JLR 12 21 21_2E (Maintenance Check Sheet (All Models ROW Specification Markets)), where it states that the service is done on 6 months or 12,000km, whichever comes sooner.
In reality they should consider the one for Easter European countries (JLR 12 28 21_3E), where the service is done on 12 months and 24,000km, as in the table, but I believe that they prefer to be on the safe side.
I believe that has to do with the sulphur in the fuel and, from what I know, on your country, is still quite high.
This quantity of sulphur is the only thing that speeds up the need of services, because of the soot that accumulates in the oil.
In fact even in the Eastern EU sheet states that "if the vehicle is operated on fuel with a moderate sulphur content (between 0.3 - 0.7%) the oil change intervals must not exceed 12 000 km (7500 miles)"

Hungary 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Tonga Green

Hi All,

We've just performed the 3 rd revision/service (3 year old, 61K kilometres) of our LR2. The schedule isn't clear to me, that is linked in this topic. Is it an A or B service? Things were done: oil, oil filter, air filter, interior room air filter, gasoline filter were changed. General revision of the conditon LR2 such as brakes, underbody etc. Anything is missing or not? Are these engines (2.2 diesel) belt or chain guided? When should it be changed or revised?

Many thanks

Thanks for this useful information. I note the date of the Schedule-is it still valid and would it also cover the latest 2011 models? Thanks

Alex
Having just had the first annual service done by the Swiss dealer I have issues with what was, and what was not done. No "Service Maintenace Check Sheet" was issued to me after the so called "service".

I've just tried your link and it doesn't work for me. Could this be that I use a MAC running OSX 10.4.11 and I'm looking at Freel2.com with Safari browser?? Please advise. Thanks.

You will both find on the link below the program for unarchiving the file.

Each will use/download the version corresponding with his operating system.

Changing depends on the year, LR changed the belt service interval so there are 2, 10 years and 7 I believe or the relevant mileage.
