2011My facelift

Saw facelift 2011my 2day. Colour coded mirror caps. New alloys. Colour coded handles. New grille 2 bar flush with bottom of headlites. Bumpers more boxy. Like mini disco 4. And alas xmas led lites. New colours are fuji white and the emerald fire used on x type. Live your life be free-lander

I'm still debating if I trade in mine in June, when finance is up, or keep it, and wait a year till the face lift comes out.

Wish we could see some pics to help me decide.

Still nothing on the internet either, but I guess, as it isn't a brand new model, they won't be having "spy shots" taken of them testing, as it's all cosmetic work. Not at least until they're ready to have some pictures leaked.

If it is the 2011 model that means it should be out around October this year. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I heard 190BHP but I also heard that was on the auto & 150BHP on a manual. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Based on what LR maker has said i think the styling might be very similar to the new Range Rover, his description of the lights is similar to the pictures in this article

We decided not to buy a facelift FL2 at the end of the year and wait for the FL3 in 3 years time. We have had ours for 3 years, it's been pretty much faultless and so far has been 100% reliable.

This is why I did the 2009/2010 "facelift" with all the colour coded parts. Keeps it fresh for another couple of years, besides, ours has been paid for since day one back in 2007 so would rather get our moneys worth out of it. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I can't imagine there being a big power difference to be honest, although there will be some engine updates...a premium 4x4 with a 0-60 time on the long side of 10 seconds is like swearing now a days!! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
