United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Santorini Black

this is likely to be a dump post - but here goes

i noticed this Freelander has dual exhaust outlets on the rear - where as our newly acquired Freelander (2010) only has 1 outlet on the rear nearside.

Is this a different exhaust config?

Matt, i have noticed you have gone back to Freelander 2 on the rear or is my memory incorrect as it used to be FL2?

Yep, I figure that as the car was having a make over, I'd add a nice new Freelander 2 badge to complete the job.

As taken from the original post.................

So, instead of trading up for a new one I gave it the 2010 exterior.

New Bottom Door Panels in body colour instead of textured black.
New Rear Bumper, fully painted instead of the bottom half in black textured plastic.
Front Bumper Re-painted (Stone Chips etc) including the black sections at the bottom.

I also removed the LR2 badge and fitted a nice new Freelander 2 badge. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

As Nick said, I bought the i6 rear silencer and tail pipes as I think it looks a damn site better than the single downward pointing pipe. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

A very handsome car, Thumbs Up
The tail pipes do make for a meatier look, what sort of costings for the exhaust conversion?

It was over two years ago when I did it so prices may have gone up, but your looking at just under £200 for the silencer and £16 each for the tail pipes. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
