Looks fantastic, had mine washed by the local Polish car wash, they do a good job, but you cannot beat the results when you put in care and time. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
May think twice about a quick wash next time. Thumbs Up ______________________

Guys, you cannot beat a machine polisher! Seriously, Megs 83 with a medium pad then a regular polish or sealant... cant go wrong really! Takes out most of the swirls and adds a ridiculous shine!

Hey Barton! Very Happy Hope yr well!

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Rimini Red

Adam,

I'm into a bit of deatiling myself and was wondering how you found the paint on the Freelander 2? Do you think it was hard or soft?

Been thinking of using the Meguires 83 on my Rimini Red Freelander 2 as it has a bit of swirling. Did you use a polishing pad or cutting pad?

finally, what sealant are you using. On my Freelander 1 which was black i used Poorboys black hole which was great, if not a little hard to work. Gone S383 ABA Freelander 2.0 XEDI Rioja Red

I cant really comment on how "hard" the paint is, as there is no real measure, although it is not as hard as paint found on German cars, I can say that much! Swirls came out pretty easily!

The pad used was a polishing pad (Sonus SFX 2) sealant was Chemical Guys M-Seal

Black hole is better used with a machine and a finishing pad
