Done me knee in!

I am going to be a right PIA today as I have done me knee in at the gym Big Cry . Depending on how much it hurts at the time my responses will be either positive or negative except for some contributors who dont like my exhaust pipe finisher. I shall go out of my way to be negative with him (them) Whistle Ralph

Hope it isn't Cartilidge or Ligaments. Go to the physio and get it checked out. Did mine, left it too long and ended up with torn cartilidge - operation and all that good stuff. Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

I dont think that I have done cartiledge or ligaments. I think I have inflamed the knee joint through over exertion. I am not in the first flush of youth and running for 5 miles and "spinning" (varied stationary bike speeds) plus a session of the cross trainer was too much for this old body. SWMBO is already fed up of me moping about the house so I now have an incentive to get better quickly Ralph

Take the pain!

Most people are big nancys when it comes to injuries or illness. I had a rotator cuff damage to my shoulder. Dr. said physio and pain killers. Yeah, right, like I don't get exercise. I did go and it was pathetic, so i gave it up. Then there was the pain killers, no way, quickest way to dependency on them.

Okay, you got it. Was it Platoon or FMJ? Can't remember that one.

Hey, SWMBO hasn't got an ounce of sympathy for anything. When I gave up smoking, I was told, whats the big deal? Root Canal work last month, got told to get on with it. Cut myself yesterday, asked if I bled over the carpet? I don't even bother asking now.

Ralphk, regarding your knee injury blame it on the people asking questions about your finisher, you could have tweeked it getting down to take the various camera shots. Thumbs Up

People underestimate the pain and discomfort that can some times be felt without obvious signs of injury, I for Instance have suffered from lumbago for many years now and people have very little or no sympathy including I might add My good lady wife, If she ventures in to fredas driving seat I have to go rooting in the boot for my beaded seat massager which aggravates my condition when I have to refit it.
