Mudflaps

No doubt a silly question but do the mudflaps screw or bolt on and if so does the car already have premade holes etc... 09 Plate Rimini Red Freelander 2 HSE with Roofrails, Side Mouldings, Sidetubes and Privacy Glass

They screw on using two existing screws that you remove, although when you fit the mudflaps the kit includes two longer screws plus spring clips.
So on each mudflap - remove two screws (discarding one) and replace with an existing one + new one plus spring clip. No extra holes or drilling is required if that's what your concerned about.
The rears are a doddle, the fronts apparently are a bit trickyer (If there is such a word) but I only fit the rears when needed i.e. to protect my 'trailer' Whistle

You can do them with a Halford small ratchet and philips screwdriver type socket attached thereto, without removing the wheel.

I have found also that the mudflaps keep the front of my trailer cleaner, shame that it does not stop the flies. Whistle

Or sleeping policemen. you'd think when Central Government pays 51% of capitol costs and the Police Authority only 49%, they'd get something a bit better, especially as policy used to be 2 years or 80k miles, but the poppets might have to put up with older now the credit crunch is on.
