Colour Coded Door Handles

Okay here in CH the LR Dealer Network want approx.UK£143 plus fitting charge of 1hr @ approx.UK£85

Three Questions:
1: What's the best product price available in the UK Question (They are small and light so easily and cheaply posted to me here)
2: Are they easy to fit ? Do they slip over the existing matt black handles (if so how are they held securely in position?), or do you have to remove the original handles (if so does this involve the removal of interior door trims to get at bolts etc?)
3: Do they come complete with fitting instructions and materials Question

Comments from folks who have done this upgrade are most appreciated.
Thanks

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

athelstan, I have just done this.
I purchased the LR door handle kit (LR006945 = Stornoway grey) from a UK dealer for £70 Gbp including tax. I don't know if I can name the dealer as I don't think they sponsor the site anymore and I don't want to get into trouble (you could PM me). Box roughly 40cmx18cmx18cm weighing about 2kg's. The handles are well made colour coded and are replacements to the current black plastic ones fitted. On the inside they have a rubber coating to prevent scratches. The glue over type looked bad and I wasn't sure how long they would last.
In my gallery there is a pdf of the fitting instructions, it's all done from the outside, and if I can do it so can you. I can send you some pictures before you buy if you need - very easy to fit, wll take you 10/15 mins max Thumbs Up

I'm considering myself a man with a mature sense of humor, but maybe not everyone likes his/her topic poluted by the "funny" comments of several people...
Sorry athelstan for my comments here but I couldn't refrain myself...

If you had purchased a BLACK car in the first place there would be no need for this topic.

Only on the HSE, maybe they thought by putting grey handles on buyers would have to upgrade to body colourer handles ?
