Hi all, I have just taken delivery of my new freelander 2 but dont have the owners manual. Tried to download from the LR site, but it does not work. Can anyone tell me, how do I activate automatic dipping of the side mrrors when I reverse? or is it something that has to be set by the dealer? Many thanks Steve

Hi Guys, many thanks for your fantastic advice, the mirrors are working fine now !

Also, you were right about using different browsers to download the User Manual, I normally use safari which did not work. Switched to Explorer and downloaded fine !

By the way, the manuals can be downloaded from the landrover.co.uk website

Hi Steve, they should dip automatically but maybe they have not been set into a different position yet. Bang it into reverse and set them to how you want them press memory 1 (or what ever). Then into drive or 1st gear and they should go back to normal driving setting.....try reverse again to test

Have you tried adjusting the mirrors whilst in reverve, it could be just that they are setup for the same position for forward and reverse and sothat's why they arent moving ?

yes, except you can obviously type faster than me  

to down load from LR ... firefox doesnt always work so use IE and unsure pop up blockers are off At work

I'm not sure which model you have got...but they are mentioned in my manual but I don't have that feature

Where do you go to download the manual might I ask?
