Great till it goes wrong

Nothing overly massive but recently couldn`t open any of electric windows from drivers door panel - this problem comes and goes but also it tends to take some of the door locks with it making them impossible to open from inside or out.

New controller module on the way but dammed annoying for car parks etc where I need to take a ticket to lift barrier

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

When I went to buy my car I went into the dealership with the attitude that if it hasnt got a feature it cannot go wrong. Electric windows is pretty standard nowadays so you cant get away from that however theres several things I thought on the list that were asking for problems which usually arrive as soon as the cars out of warranty.
Most stuff ive had disconnected like locking doors as soon as you drive and one touch locking rather than once for the drivers door and again for the rest. Il probably get the folding mirrors done as well just so they cant go wrong in the future. Laughing
But I like basic, its simple, it gets me from a to b so why do I want more. Thumbs Up

Keep chasing and finally it has arrived. Now just the problem of geting it booked in especially as I don`t want to lose the car during this lovely weather we are having.

Also they allegedly are looking into my sensors chiming continually when wet - Is there a definite Fix or do they just fiddle ?
