England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver
disappointed in TR

tried to turn TR to gravel /snow this morning and got the messgae terrain response is faulty !!! not want you want to see when you have snow on the road !!!

Did you try a turning the engine off and back on again?

This has sorted it for me in the past, the couple of times this has happened

You can trust that the terrain response is excellent - when it works Confused If the car was very cold you might find it resolves itself after a minute or 2 running.
...or a restart as Rich says. Thumbs Up

it is now working and i have just been to my land rover garage and was told that it was probably because the system was cold...........but surely if you are going to choose the snow option it may be cold everytime ha ha

I think it is because the hydraulic oil in the haldex 4x4 controller takes a little while to warm up. it only seems to happen on initial start up of the car and only on cold days. At work
