I dont need recling seats any more Big Cry In any case using electric ones take so much time to fold down the urge would have worn off with the long wait Shocked

The old quick release recling seats were much better Very Happy Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Same thing has happened to me today, waiting to pick the wife up from Teesside Park so had a few minutes to spare, why don’t I fiddle with the seat I thought. The seat is now stuck, can still slide forward and backwards, but will not recline backwards, but will go forwards.
I have just had the seat base seen to, to stop the movement under breaking and accelerating and a new bottom seat cover as the old leather had started to split on the side of the seat,

Stratstone Stockton is on my way to work, so will call in, in the morning to get the verdict.

Don’t want to try and force anything as my luck at present seems to have left me, central heating bust last week, British Gas want a fortune off me, then the Dishwasher goes and floods the kitchen, so you could say the seat is the last of my bad luck, role on Christmas

That’s what I was afraid of, so once I realised things were not right I left well alone, I can still drive in relative comfort so will see what the garage has to say in the morning,

Job done, the chaps at Stratstone had a look at it, after taking the seat base off and putting it on again everything’s working fine. They don’t know if it was a fault with the motor or switch but suggested it may have been a loose wire / connection from the previous work on the seat.

Any way all done and sitting comfortable, big thanks for Mike getting the car booked in and sorted in such short time
