Just had my 911 detailed WOW - Vogue next

Hi all,

I have a 911 turbo and it really needed the full hit.

A guy called Scott from OCD detailing did my wifes freelander 2 first (to test lol) and the job was brilliant so I asked him to do my 911.

I asked Scott to take lots of photos and as you can see the paint was in very poor condition.

Enjoy and thanks again Scott :thumb:

You didn't have it "detailed", you had it CLEANED! Why people bother to associate "detailed" with cleaning a car is beyond me... Sad

Anyway ignoring the above, your Porker looks gorgeous - irrespective of what language you choose to describe it Wink

PS: Apologies "detailed" is a pet hate Whistle I'm only jealous!

"Porker" and "Detailed" sound like words from an American dictionary, so when you get a president and change the Jack to a stripey alternative everything will be hunky dorey in good old Blighty Embarassed 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

if it was just cleaned, then it would have just had a bucket of water thrown over it and wiped down with a dirt sponge.

Detailed, means its had somebody clean the car down removing all the possible dirt, contaminates from the paint work, in preparation to correct the paint work by machine polishing, by removing swirls caused by a bad washing regime, where its done by yourself, Kosovans at the side of the road or your local swirl-o-matic. then they will have (in most cases) applied a protective layer of wax or sealant to the bodywork/wheels and if your wallent cn stretch to it, they then will have done the inside, cleaning and feeding the leather, wiping down all surfaces and treating them with a protecting product and hoovering out ever spec of dust/dirt

The paid attention to detail hence the use of the word "detailing"

that my take on the subject Very Happy Some people are happy to have there car washed with a grit covered sponge way past its use by date, some people car for the care enough to pay for it to be brough back to a condition better than it was when it first left its showroom Thumbs Up

Nice One Doc Thumbs Up , thanks for sharing it with me and a few others who actually are impressed by this sort of thing Bow down Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

Love Poshes. The blue is a bit reserved though, they look better with an in ya face colour.

Was sitting in a 4 year old one the other month at a dealer, sat in the drivers seat for a full 20 minutes just weighing up trading up the TT or not, salesman kept coming over, going away, and looking at me strangely. Not enough room in the garage with the Cob though and thats not going anywhere.

Thanks for the piccy's, my gray Lago is now decidedly brown, all over, inside and out, except the brown bits, they're black. Methinks I should try my hand at cleaning oops detailing it. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky
TT Quattro, black. Ers.
AC Cobra rep in build. Ars.
